Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Mazel Tov as you prepare your child to enter into one of the most exciting stops along the journey of our Jewish lives. BHC 's Bar/Bat Mitzvahprogram ensures that your child is properly trained to lead the Congregation in prayer and is ready to take on the responsibilities of being a member of the adult Jewish Community. At BHC, we are committed to making this a wonderful, positive experience for your family.

Our program is open to children of BHC members in good standing. All children must meet the requirement of having 3 years of religious school or Jewish day school experience prior to enrolling in our Bar/Bat Mitzvah program.

To make this exciting time in your lives a little easier and a lot more meaningful, contact BHC's Bar/Bat Mitzvah Coordinator Becky Gutin, 410-764-1587, ext. 250, or bgutin@bhcong.org.

TESTIMONIAL

Dear Andy, Robbie, and Jo Ann,

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Our friends and family were so deeply appreciative of the warmth and hospitality they felt at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation and the true connection and understanding they felt at the service.  Here are some of the comments:

  • I did not realize the history of the synagogue.  I enjoyed looking at all of the memorabilia in the hallways.
  • The service was beautiful, steeped in tradition.
  • We felt so welcome and are appreciative of being at BHC -- we learned so much.
  • The Cantor had a great voice and we loved his guitar playing.  He is very talented.
  • The ease and friendliness of the Rabbi and his "genuine" style was engaging.
  • (Where did you go to school with the Rabbi?)  (lol)

I could go on and on.

The bottom line is we are proud to have hosted this milestone event at BHC and REALLY THANK YOU and all the staff at BHC for helping to make our day very special.

That is all for now...
While I am basking in the afterglow of {our son's} Bar Mitzvah and posting pictures on Facebook, I really must get some work done!

Best Regards,
joan
