BHC and Temple Oheb Shalom join forces to plant and cultave a Garden of Life. No experience or green thumb necessary - we will teach you our easy techniques.We plant and harvest fresh produce for several soup kitchens and for ourselves. Fun, Learning & Camaraderie! Items needed at Our Daily Bread: laundry detergent, dish soap, paper lunch bags, plastic baggies, ziploc baggies, cold cereal, heavy duty oven mitts, cooking spray, sugar, tea bags, mayonnaise, salad dressing, paper napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, plastic forks & spoons, salt, pepper, filled disposable shakers, peanut butter, jelly, ketchup, mustard, gravy, instant potatoes, canned fruit & vegetables, canned meat & tuna, canned soup, pasta, noodles, rice, any small dry food product. Bring donations in to the BHC kitchen (marked for Our Daily Bread) and we'll deliver them.
Jewish Foster Care and Jewish Adoption

Jewish Family Services is looking for families who are willing to become licensed foster homes, to ensure that every Jewish child that needs foster care has a Jewish home available. Currently, Jewish children in need of foster care services are being placed outside of the Jewish community. Jewish couples and individuals who are considering growing their families through adoption can go through the Adoption Program.
