Young Adults play a key role at BHC, from participating in innovative holiday celebrations and volunteer and educational programs to the CHAI Life program, featuring Downtown Shabbat, coffeeshop discussions with clergy, sports seasons, and great social events. |
Chai Life
Chai Life is the synagogue's Young Adult group, for ages 23-35. The goal of Chai Life is to strengthen the connection between young adults/professionals and their Jewish community and BHC. Chai Life programming includes:
- Downtown Shabbat, hosted by other young adults.
- Java Jews is our free cafe discussion event that happens once a month.
- The Matzahaballers, Chai Life's sports team, is currently a strong force in the Kickball League of Baltimore.
- Chai Society every other month, which is a subsidized dinner at a cool, new restaurant.
Chai Life is always looking for other programming around town. There's never a dull moment with Chai Life!
