Annual Giving

Capital & Endowment Campaign

L'Dor V'Dor Society (Planned Giving)

Consider becoming a member of the L'Dor V'Dor Society by making a Legacy gift to BHC. These gifts will increase our permanent endowment and can be made by a bequest in your will, a gift of a life insurance policy, making BHC a beneficiary of a retirement plan, or establishing a charitable remainder trust or gift annuity. There are many tax benefits to these gifts and would be a wonderful way to support BHC as part of your estate planning. Making the commitment now will establish you as a Charter Member of the L'Dor V'Dor Society and a benefactor of our Congregation. Naming opportunities are also available. For details, contact Jo Ann Windman, 410-764-1587.

Offerings

Announcement of get well, thanksgiving, special occasion and in memory offerings are announced at Shabbat services and subsequently printed in the Temple Bulletin. Minimum contribution $15. BHC members may contribute an offering by calling the Temple Office, 410-764-1587, or by e-mailing Offerings@bhcong.org with the necessary information, and charging donations to their account. Others may contribute by mailing a check to Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, Attention: Contributions, 7401 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21208-5490.

Simcha Tree of Life: Inscribe Yourself and Your Family into BHC History

A new piece of art has been installed in the lobby by the Hoffberger Chapel entrance: The Simcha Tree of Life. You can commemorate a current or past simcha - birth, bris or naming, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, confirmation, graduation, wedding or anniversary - in your life or the life of your family by purchasing leaves that will be engraved and mounted on the Tree. Each leaf costs $180.00. Please contact Sally Palmbaum at 410-764-1587, ext. 236 for more information.

Gifts of Tzedakah

Baltimore Hebrew Congregation is honored to have special funds for tzedakah, many of which have been established through the extraordinary generosity of Congregants. Your contribution to these funds also serves as a two-fold blessing: honoring the recipient (or their memory) by acknowledging a meaningful occasion or providing compassion during a time of need as well as supporting the vital programs and services offered to our members.

BHC members may contribute to these funds by calling the Temple Office, 410-764-1587, or making a secure donation on-line. Others may contribute by mailing a check to Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, Attention: Resource Development Funds, 7401 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21208-5490.
